During the third quarter of 2024, the performance of leading Pokémon collector games on iOS in New Zealand showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Pokémon GO by Niantic, Inc. experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $36K in early July before settling at approximately $23K by the end of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of about 1.1K in the final week of the quarter. Active users saw a temporary rise to around 32K in early July, ending the quarter at approximately 27K.

The newly released Pokémon TCG Pocket from The Pokemon Company made a strong entrance with weekly revenue jumping from $20K to nearly $39K by the end of September. Downloads also surged, moving from 17.5K to over 31K in the same period.
